Sinclair & Co. Ltd, James A. | Una | Other | Quarter Plate

1904: From 54, Haymarket, London, SW., Sinclair produced the "Una", yet another competitor for the Sanderson cameras which were very popular at the time. The Sinclair "Una" was one of the more successful ones, being well designed, well constructed and of the highest quality. It was available in various revisions right through to the beginning of the second world war. Standard, Tropical, and De-Luxe versions could be had to order, and buyers could specify what lens / shutter combinations they wanted to have fitted. Mine is the Standard version and in very poor condition, but it will have to do until I can get a better one.
