Gibbons, W | Field Camera | English | Half Plate
FIELD CAMERA. 1880s. A quite unexceptional little camera of simple construction, but with interesting front support by two hinged brass flaps. It came to me as a derelict for spare-parts. Badged 'W. Gibbons, Optician, 71 Constitution Hill, Birmingham'. Channing and Dunn have him in their supplementary list, but no details are given.
