Sanderson (Houghtons) | Regular | English | Quarter Plate

ENGLISH FIELD CAMERA. c1905. Designed by Sanderson, and normally referred to by his name, Sanderson cameras were in fact manufactured first by a firm called Holmes, and later by Houghtons. The Sanderson design is instantly recognisable by the front panel support arrangement of multiple struts. This one will take the Thornton-Pickard focal plane shutter, available as an extra, and the pictures show this shutter fitted.
